X (2007)
for solo percussion
X is in part a celebration of the tenth anniversary of my piece Siri (1997), also for solo percussion. The work is in one movement divided into four sections.
X was written for Adrian Spillett, a friend and excellent musician, with respect and affection, and first performed at the Wigmore Hall, 8 January 2008.
